That’s why we’ve built the 1upretrogaming Virtual World—a fully immersive, interactive digital archipelago where you can walk (or fly!) between islands, enter themed lounges, and video chat in real-time with other collectors and fans from around the globe.

Your journey starts at the Retro Lobby. Think of this as the central plaza of our digital universe. It is a bustling meeting point designed to help you get your bearings before you warp off to your favorite console’s island. Here, you can meet fellow gamers from all walks of life, check the community board for upcoming live streams and events, or just enjoy the atmosphere of the floating islands surrounding you. It’s the perfect neutral ground to make new friends before splitting off into specialized parties.

 

Nintendo Island: The Kingdom of Classics

 

Cross the bridge to a land of pipes, castles, and bright colors. Nintendo Island is our most popular destination, designed with that warm, nostalgic "Mushroom Kingdom" aesthetic. Whether you are a die-hard NES collector, a SNES RPG fanatic, or someone who loves the modern versatility of the Switch, this is your home. The conversation here never stops—from debating the confusing Zelda timeline to sharing tips on how to spot fake GBA cartridges. It’s a bright, welcoming space for fans of the Big N.

 

Sega Island: High-Speed Hangouts

The PlayStation Lounge: For the Players.

It is a chill, sophisticated space where the community gathers to discuss the massive library of PS1 RPGs, the absolute dominance of the PS2, and the modern exclusives of the PS5. If you have fond memories of distinct startup sounds and memory card management, pull up a chair.

 

The Arcade & Computer Legends

We haven't forgotten the roots of gaming. We have dedicated spaces for the pioneers and the power-users:
